Admissions
The college offers admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs. To be eligible for admission, students must meet the specified criteria. For undergraduate self-financed courses, admission is based on a combination of merit (50%) and open competition (50%). Similarly, for postgraduate courses such as M.A./M.Sc. Self Financed/M.Com/M.Com Self Financed, selection is determined by undergraduate-level marks and follows the state government policy. Admission to the M.B.A and M.C.A. programs at Ethiraj College for Women is based on TANCET scores, performance in the entrance test, group discussion (for M.B.A), and interview. M.Phil admissions depend on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance test, and viva voce.
