Admissions
For admission to the B.Sc. degree course in Nursing (Basic), applicants must have successfully completed their qualifying examinations (Academic Stream) up to the 12th standard, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) as their subjects.
Prior to enrollment, every candidate must provide the institution’s principal with a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized Medical Officer, confirming their physical suitability to undertake the academic course.
For admission to the Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing course, candidates should have completed the General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) diploma qualification from the Tamil Nadu Board of Medical Examiners in General Nursing and Midwifery or any other recognized board of medical examiners in General Nursing and Midwifery accepted as equivalent by the Indian Nursing Council.
To be eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing program, applicants must have successfully completed a B.Sc. Nursing degree and be registered with the State Registration Council of Nursing and Midwifery in Tamil Nadu.
Additionally, B.Sc. Nursing graduates should possess at least one year of experience in a hospital or a Community Health Program after their graduation.
