Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) is a renowned institution offering a wide range of engineering courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. levels. Admission to the B.E and B.Tech courses at MCET is facilitated through the Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) state-level counseling process, conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. No entrance test is required for TNEA counseling, and the merit list is prepared based on the candidates’ scores in their 12th-grade examinations, as well as the choice filling, choice locking, and document verification stages.
