Placements

During the six-month internship, our college provides valuable practical experience at renowned hospitals such as Wenlock Government Hospital and Lady Goschen Hospital in Mangalore. The internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diverse areas, including the blood bank where we participate in blood camps and acquire valuable skills. Lady Goschen Hospital is particularly known for its excellent laboratory conditions, which further enrich our learning experience. While the hospitals provide a conducive environment for learning, it is important to note that they do not offer direct job placements. However, upon completion of the internship year, there are abundant job opportunities available. Although I am currently in my first year and have yet to undergo the internship, I have gathered information from senior students. They have shared that the internship is highly beneficial and job prospects are favorable. It is worth mentioning that stipends are typically awarded to students with higher marks and selected individuals, with an approximate monthly stipend of Rs. 6000. The internship is an invaluable experience as it involves clinical postings in various hospitals and laboratories, allowing students to gain practical skills and valuable experience in the field.
