Established in 1980, Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology (Dr AIT) operates under the Panchajanya Vidya Peeta Welfare Trust. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. As an autonomous college, it receives aid from the government of Karnataka and holds approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Notably, Dr AIT has been accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC. Admissions

The Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology admits students to the M.Tech program based on their scores in Karnataka PGCET/GATE. Those interested in pursuing the M.C.A program must appear for the Karnataka PGCET. Aspiring students for the M.B.A program are required to have a valid score in the Karnataka PGCET.
