Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
To be eligible for admission to the BDS course, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Completion of the two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by Karnataka’s Pre-University Board or an equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as one of the languages of study.
Successful participation and qualification in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
Attainment of a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined, with a pass in the English language in the qualifying examination. Alternatively, any other examination recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka, is also accepted. Students belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) categories or other government-notified categories are granted a relaxation of 10% in the required aggregate marks for eligibility.
For admission to the MDS course, candidates must fulfill the following prerequisites:
Possession of a BDS degree from a college and university recognized by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi, or an equivalent qualification approved by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (Bangalore), and the Dental Council of India.
Successful appearance and qualification in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
