Admissions
To pursue a B.Sc. (Fisheries) or B.F.Sc. degree, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their subjects. Additionally, they are required to appear for an All India Level Common Entrance Test conducted by ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research), New Delhi, to secure admission into various Central Institutes of Fisheries.
For admission to the MFSc (Master of Fisheries Science) course, candidates should have successfully completed their graduation in fisheries science or a related field with a minimum aggregate of 50% – 60% marks, depending on the specific requirements. In some cases, candidates with a BTech degree may also be eligible for MFSc admissions.
