Established in 2009 as a constituent department within the CMR Group of Institutions, CMR Centre for Business Studies is affiliated with Bangalore University. The centre offers a comprehensive two-year Masters in Business Administration program, featuring dual specializations in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Banking, Finance & Insurance Services Management, Healthcare Management, Startups and SMEs Management. Notably, the MBA course is approved by the AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, and holds recognition from the Government of Karnataka. It has also been awarded the prestigious ‘A’ Category B-School of India designation in the esteemed “PAN India” B-School Survey.

Admissions
Prospective applicants have two options for obtaining application forms: they can either collect them from the college admissions office or apply online through the official website of CMR Centre for Business Studies. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (45% for SC/ST/CAT I candidates). Additionally, candidates need to have qualified in MAT/CAT/PGCET/KMAT/ATMA or any other AICTE approved test.
Students applying under the government quota must participate in the counselling process specifically designed for KMAT examinees. On the other hand, for Management quota seats, the selection is based on scores obtained in MAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA or other equivalent tests.
Candidates interested in securing admission through KMAT counselling need to submit a separate application at the institute. The final selection process encompasses evaluation based on percentage marks obtained in 10th, 12th, and graduation, as well as entrance test scores, performance in group discussions, and personal interviews.
