Admissions
Candidates applying for admission to the B.Sc. degree course in Nursing (Basic) must have successfully completed the qualifying examinations in the Academic Stream, up to the 12th standard, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) as their subjects.
Before being admitted to the course, every candidate is required to submit a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized Medical Officer to the institution’s principal, confirming their physical fitness to undertake the academic course.
Both male and female candidates who are unmarried and have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than the Higher Secondary course examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from The Tamil Nadu DR. M.G.R. Medical University, located at Anna Salai, Guindy, Chennai-600 032, before seeking admission to any of the affiliated Nursing institutions.
