Admissions
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the four year B.E Degree course in engineering shall be required to have anyone of the following qualifications.
The candidates must have passed the 12th (intermediate) or its equivalent examination from the government recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with the percentage as 50% (for general candidates), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates.
A pass in Diploma in Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education and Training Tamilnadu or its equivalent.
Any other qualification accepted as equivalent by the Anna University.(Please refer the website of Anna University).
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the two year M.E course in engineering shall be required to have a pass in Engineering (any stream) from an institution recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
