Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
Alvas Engineering College offers a comprehensive range of courses including a four-year BE program with five specializations, an MBA program with four specializations, and an M.Tech program with three specializations.
For admission to the BE program, candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) from a recognized Board. Eligibility for the BE program is determined through KCET or COMEDK-UGET.
Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering can apply for the BE Lateral Entry program, and admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Selection for the MBA course is done through KMAT, CAT, or KEA-PGCET.
For admission to the M.Tech program, candidates should hold a BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline. Selection for the M.Tech program is based on the KEA-PGCET score.
Admission to management quota seats follows the norms set by VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University).
