Established in 2016, Akash Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AIMS&RC) is a leading medical college located in Devanahalli town of Bangalore, adjacent to the Bangalore International Airport. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Admissions
Admission to the undergraduate (MBBS) courses at Akash Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre is based on an entrance examination followed by a counselling process. Candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)/Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority/Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) examinations. KCET qualified candidates have to register for centralised counselling and select AIMS&RC as their preferred college during the choice filling process. Applicants must complete an application form on the college’s website. Final admission is based on the marks scored in NEET/CET/COMED-K examinations, seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment.
