Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
Admission to the MBBS program is based on the candidates’ performance in the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate) examination. Selection for MD, MS, and Diploma courses is done through NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate), while admission to M.Ch. and DM courses is granted based on NEET SS (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty).
For admission to paramedical courses (B.Sc. and M.Sc.), candidates are selected based on their merit in the qualifying examination and their performance in a personal interview conducted by the institute.
Eligibility for the MBBS program requires candidates to have passed 10+2 with English as a compulsory language and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
To be eligible for MD, MS, and Diploma programs, candidates must have an MBBS degree or an equivalent degree from RGUHS, Bangalore, or any other recognized university/institute.
For admission to the M.Ch. program, candidates must hold an MS degree, and for the DM program, candidates with an MD degree are eligible.
To be eligible for the B.Sc. program, students must have passed the Pre-University Examination conducted by RGUHS, Bangalore, with English as a compulsory language and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects.
For admission to the M.Sc. program, candidates must hold a B.Sc. MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) degree.
