Admissions
The application and admission process at AEC&RI is limited to Tamil Nadu residents and candidates who have completed their 10th, 11th, and 12th standards in Tamil Nadu. To be eligible for the B.Tech course, candidates must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in their 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Computer Science as subjects.
The allocation of B.Tech seats at AEC&RI is based on the performance of candidates in the 10+2 examination. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official TNAU website. Meritorious students will undergo counseling conducted by TNAU to facilitate the admission process.
Placements
Several companies and NGOs, totaling over 100, have visited our institution. However, the compensation packages offered by them have not met our expectations. To address this issue, our senior students and I have established an innovative forum called IMOT. This platform provides up-to-date information on current agricultural issues and offers comprehensive cultivation practices for various crops.
Upon graduation, our students are sought after by a diverse range of employers, including industries, consulting firms, universities, and government organizations. They are engaged in research, education, and manufacturing across all sectors of agricultural engineering. Notably, many graduates from our batch have achieved remarkable success as entrepreneurs, while a significant number have secured positions with corporations in the Middle East countries.
