Prospective students seeking admission to the college must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Admission is granted based on clearing the KCET examination.
Admissions
For admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the admissions year. Additionally, they must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in each of the four subject areas: physics, chemistry, biology, and English in the qualifying examination. However, applicants from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or other disadvantaged groups need to obtain a combined minimum of 40% marks in these subjects, instead of the previously mentioned 50%.
As for the Master of Science in Nursing program, candidates must possess a B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic) or a Post-B.Sc. in Nursing degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka (RGUHS) or any other college recognized as comparable by RGUHS, Karnataka.
For admission to the Post Basic Bachelor of Science program, candidates must have passed the GNM exam after completing 10+2 or an equivalent examination, preferably from the state or nation in question. Additionally, candidates should hold a valid license as a nurse and/or midwife from a state nursing registration council.
To initiate the admission process, candidates must first pass the PPMET exam. Once successful, they need to complete the admission form and submit it along with all necessary supporting documents. Upon receiving admission, the required fees must be paid.
For the postgraduate program, candidates must apply online for admission and fill out an application form. After submission, further steps in the admission process will be communicated.
Placements
The college’s placement cell arranges campus interviews with renowned organizations from major cities across the country. At the end of each term, students have the option to either join ACN or participate in on-campus interviews. The college also offers an internship training program tailored to meet course requirements.
