Admissions
The BDS program consists of four academic years and one year of internship, culminating in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree upon successful completion. Obtaining a BDS degree is the foundational requirement for legal registration as a dental practitioner. However, students also have the option to pursue postgraduate studies in their desired dental specialization.
To be eligible for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) course, candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree from an Indian university or institute. They should also be registered with the State Dental Council and have obtained provisional or permanent registration. Additionally, candidates must have completed a compulsory one-year rotatory internship at an approved/recognized dental college.
For admission to the Master in Dental Surgery (MDS) course, candidates must possess a recognized Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree awarded by a university or institute.
