SRIPS is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, located in Chennai, the capital city of the state. This affiliation ensures the recognition and approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Additionally, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has duly recognized the pharmacy programs offered by SRIPS, adhering to the norms set for pharmaceutical programs across the country. The college provides a comprehensive range of pharmacy courses, starting from the undergraduate level up to the doctoral level. The undergraduate program, B.Pharm, extends over a duration of four years, while the postgraduate program, M.Pharm, spans across two years, empowering students with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy.

To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
For B.Pharmacy:
Candidates should have completed HSC, PDC, or intermediate with a minimum aggregate of 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology or mathematics.Alternatively, candidates who have passed the D.Pharmacy program are also eligible. Those with a minimum aggregate of 50% in D.Pharmacy can directly seek admission to the second year of the B.Pharmacy program.For Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate):
Applicants must hold a B.Pharm degree from any institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.For M.Pharmacy:
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) from any recognized Indian University with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
