Admissions
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully completed an Under-Graduate Degree Examination from Anna University or any other recognized university as specified in the admission criteria set by Tamilnadu Common Admission (TANCA). For candidates with H.SC, Academic, Vocational, or Diploma backgrounds applying for lateral entry, it is required that the average total marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are at least 50% for OC, 45% for BC, and 40% for MBC.
Placements
SMKFIT has established a dedicated placement cell with the aim of enhancing students’ employability, fostering industry-institute collaboration, providing guidance for higher studies, and promoting entrepreneurial awareness. The placement cell at SMKFIT conducts various activities such as aptitude tests, goal setting, personality development, interview techniques, and communication skills training to equip students with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in interviews. Notably, out of the 116 students from the 2015-2019 batch, an impressive 106 students have secured placements.
